It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are four characteristics, whoever has them all is a pure hypocrite, and whoever has one of them has one of the characteristics of hypocrisy, until he gives it up: when he speaks he lies, when he makes a covenant he betrays it, when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he disputes he resorts to obscene speech.”Narrated by al-Bukhaari (34) and Muslim (58).
Ibn Abi Mulaykah said: I met thirty of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), all of whom feared being hypocrites, and none of them ever said that he had faith equivalent to that of Jibreel and Mikaa’eel.
Hasan Al-Basri used to say (concerning hypocrisy): "No one fears it but a believer and no one feels safe from it but a hypocrite".
Undoubtedly, the hypocrites are in the lowest section of the Hell, and you shall never get any helper for them.
Oh Allah....protect us from Nifaaq al akbar and Nifaaq al Asghaar....and enter us into jannat Al Firdaws Al-Alaa.
